Just Wondering If I Can Powdercoat The Trunk Latch Mechanism?

Not Sure If There Are Any Plastic Pieces In There. Thanks

There may be a spring in there, if so it might be better to keep the heat to a maximum of 350 degrees. (f)

I've restored several over the years. The Faraday areas present challenges, and making sure moving parts can still move afterwards present others.

You'll want to outgas the pieces first and keep powder out of the oiling holes on the main body.

If you're not an advanced coater or used to repairing / maintaining these, I wouldn't recommend a DIY.

I had mine replated gold/zinc and didn't have to take it apart.

But plating and powder coating are 2 completely different coatings
