Trunk service light

Can anyone tell me where the trunk light socket attaches to the trunk lid? My original leads seem short. I never took a pic of the original set up.

Thanks guys! Found it under the lip where you guys were pointing. For some reason I thought it was mounted in the lid.

Was this a standard part or part of a light package?

Not standard.

Is there an A01 on your fender tag?
Some things were standard in some trim packages. A Sport Satellite may have had that in the option group.

My 70 RR has the A01 code

And yes it has the trunk light
