I had several years of insomnia, I also have restless leg syndrome. Many nights of 3 hours of sleep. During the insomnia years there were many nights of less then 2 hours. The insomnia left as soon as it came not sure why. I have tried several meds to get the RLS under control, finally after 19 years I have the right meds and the correct timing of taking them the RLS is less then 2 nights a month. I have read that tart cherry juice is good for sleep, also less screen time before bed, I have also read breathing exercises help. I would like to drop off to sleep quicker but I will be happy with the 6 hours i get now.
