Are the 43041 3" mufflers black?
I'm interested in buying them.

If you sell them before I get to take a look at the Flowmasters on my car now, that's ok. I'll be at the shop this coming week of the 6th to see what Flowmasters I have and check fitment, and if the ones you have will work, we may be able to make a deal.
Thanks

Here's a picture of my Flowmasters

They are EDIT going to have to be measured by someone at the shop...
Measurements of the ones you have?

Looks like 13 x 9.75 is their measurement.
Now I'm 2nd guessing my measurements.
I'll call the shop and ask them to measure length and width for me.

Ya, no way yours are only 5" wide, that'd be only 1" beyond the 3" pipe on each side

Bio, flowmaster part numbers are etched into the end cap, i dont remember which end though.
Typical 13" body flowmasters (series 40) are 19"oal, 4" thick, 9 3/4 wide.
Edit: etched on the outlet end cap, might need to wire brush it to see it.

Lost the water pump in our van today, didn't get to it

The body of my Flowmasters are 13" long by about 9½ wide.
Are you counting the pipe nipples in your 19" measurement? 3" on both ends?
If so, we need to take this deal to PMs.

Bio, you can get a good idea of what flowmaster is, from just looking at the part number.
I have two sets, 53553 and 53072.
53553 translates to ... first digit - case thickness
second and third digit - tubing size
Fourth digit - muffler series
Fifth digit - I don't remember for sure, I think entry and exit locations. So....
53553 five inch case, 3 1/2 in and out, 5- 50 series big block, 3 offset in, center out
53072 five inch case, 3.0 in and out, 7 - 70 series truck/big block, 2- don't remember tubing layout.
This system has been changed and added to, but it looks like it applies to furious 70s mufflers.
But heck, it's really easier to look them up at summit's site, now.

YES! That has come in handy for the Flowmasters and the 2nd WRONG hydraulic throwout bearing conversion kit that American Powertrain has sent me.
Jesus Chrysler!! What MOPAR nation citizen wants "FORD" on the blue anodized billet aluminum anti spin spacer of a $650 kit?!!?
