About half done painting the structure in the alley that is supposed to support some fabric for shade. A real pain in the butt removing the rust on a rickety ladder, then priming and painting with a tiny brush. Need to work early morning or at sundown, too hot in the sun otherwise.

This little project I could perform in the shade: The chair arms were beginning to crack a little, so I sanded and filled in the cracks and repainted (top coated with clear polyurethane which should protect the wood for a couple of years).

Chairs look comfortable

keep cool :bananadance:
you're retired, there's always tomorrow (well sort of)

people who chose to live/retired in hot areas, deserts or temperate countries
where it's hot & humid on top of it
especially near the equator, talking about the heat :poke:

is/are like people in Florida complaining about the humidity, rain or hurricanes
or people in Calif complaining about costs/politics

It's been sort of cool for this time of year up here, 'so far'
80*s instead of high 90*s (or in a month 100*+, but it's not so damn humid)
but, it won't last much longer
