Vent or nonvented fuelcap?

I have a 69 Plymouth sport satellite. 318 engine, original gastank, fillerneck and ventlines from what I can see. Car has been running with a nonvented gascap ever since I bought it but it serms it should be a vented Cap? No running issues, but sometimes it's a real struggle to fill up a full tank with the modern gashandles.

Non vented and the gas cap has ZERO to do with filling your tank seeing you remove it to do do!

It will be some incompatibility issue between a 60 year old gas tank and a modern fuel filler handpiece.

If the cap was vented, guess what would happen every time you accelerate. Seems like there are two vent lines or something, check in the area by the fuel sending unit. If it is all orginal, may be time for a refresh.
