Did 1965 models have the roset rivits?
ECS sells the 1968-74 rosette rivets as well as the dry transfer if that is what you are looking for.Speaking of the rosette rivets, can someone please tell me who sells the proper ones. Just need 2 and I've seen them for sale in quantity.
Thanks. I should have mentioned I need them for a '66. They are natural steel in color not the black for '68. But I appreciate the helpECS sells the 1968-74 rosette rivets as well as the dry transfer if that is what you are looking for.
WOW! Can't believe some one would pay that kind of money for 2 rivets!Ebay has a selection. Not mine.
I guess they used a stainless rod?No, a spot weld.
‘Reasonably’ priced? They’re all about $25 for a pair. I just bit the bullet and bought a couple after scouring the internet. Are there any "Reasonable" price Correct rivets out there ? '71 GTX
I had them by the jar full at one time. We had them at work and I would go over to VIN install and get a hand full. I used them at work for pop riveting suspended ceiling grid together. Long story short, they were illegal to use on anything but VIN tags and I was asked to order my own small rivets, which I did. I used many screws that were used on trucks, vans and cars. My shop is still all boxed up, when I unpack this fall I'll have to see if I still have them.Ebay has a selection. Not mine.
From what I can see of yours....mine look pretty close to that.My 66 blurry rivet looks 6 sided.View attachment 1135745
