I was asking last week about a dip stick for a 5.7 with a Milodon center sump. I solved that problem but now I am looking for input on the transmission dip stick for this transmission in a 70 B body with the 5.7 Hemi attached to it.
Any one solved this one yet???

Darius, I dont think the factory even put one on the nag1.

The tube is there, but no dipstick. The beauty of this is you use a universal dipstick. https://millerspecialtools.spx.com/Detail.aspx?id=847 .
I have this one http://www.denlorstools.com/home/dt...r_ah_cry933_automatic_transmission_dipst.html

It's nice because the length of the tube is not critical. So if you need to modify or lengthen the tube you can. The tool is pretty long and you just need to be able to bottom it out in the pan. The graduations are in degrees celsius on mine. Either way, C of F, you will need to know trans oil temp. I would assume that since its computer controlled, you will be able to communicate with the controller via some sort of scanner. this should give you data including temperature. Usually in F so you will have to convert.
