WTB WANTED - Sun Super Tach 802 8000 RPM

Looking for a nice 3-3/8 complete super tach unit including chrome cup and steering column mounting mounting bracket that's ready to bolt on.

Would also consider the 802R which is basically the repro version of the original tach that was being sold a while back.

It has been re-branded, but is the same Tach....

No, it's not the same. The new Bosh look similar to it, but I have had both, and it is not the same. IIRC Sun Pro took over the old Sun company, maybe bought the name--not sure. There must have been problems with the Sun-Pro Sun looking tach because they took them off the market for some time. And then the look alikes came out under the Bosh brand..Anyway, the Bosh has different internals But who is to say they are not a good tach? ............................MO
