Three groove, six inches across. 1970's 440 engine.

This project is getting tired at this point. So much messing around with pulleys and accessory mounts.

Did you know they even made a pulley like this. What year, vehicle and accessories would be on this 440?

Maybe they didn't make it and that is why you cannot find one.

One sold in parts section in 2025.

Can you post a link to that, like to see what it is.

If you can't then please Tell us the date and the sellers name or the exact title of the ad an I'll find it.

No clue. It was in the Mopar pulley collection. Just remembered seeing this thread and checked the collection and there was one three grove in there. Figured I’d post and see if this is what he’s looking for.

Many thanks for your responses, much appreciated. I'm going to get back soon. I'll let you know.

The was a motor home 1978 engine. The crank and water pump pulleys line up. I my memory having spent time as a dealership mechanic, the water pump pulley is pretty close to the WP. I bought the after market brackets the power steering lines up close, just not the alternator. BTW this is one with extra position for the A/C belt, I think, as cars in my time had duel belts on the A/C compressor. I even went to the length of remounting the alternator behind it's main bracket, but it ended up the belt being to close to the bottom bracket bolt head. I have a factory lower bracket to try, as the aftermarket one has that spacer welded on to it, not so the factory original. The alt belt does hit this lower, bracket bolt head, but the belt fits the best so far. I'll get out there soon to change the lower bracket. So close but yet so far.

My question is what does your accessories look like that you need such a water pump pulley?
I think I was just throwing that out there. Using a three grove pulley would make modifying the P/S pump forward, something I don't think possible.
Thanks.

Thanks for your reply Auggie56. I thought it was motorhome related, as I had never seen it on any cars , Ruffcut
