On the 1973 RR I am restoring, the interior floor pans look like this. Appears to me that the seam seal has also be run in the drip channels. Was this for sound deadening or for some other reason?
Second question, the paint on the floor pan is original (should be a single stage enamel) but it does not shine at all and has a rough texture. Any reason for this, it is almost like it was fogged on.
