We have an old movie thread, what about a new movie one

Haven't been to a movie theater in decades now...
I refuse to pay/go them now, way too many rude people
either/or on their phones, grab-assing teens out of control,
or of just flat-out 'rude people' talking too loud during movies...

I do like a lot of stuff on TUBI, Filmrise, Freeve, :blah: 100 of them probably
all from the comfort of my recliner, no rude people
'except my dad' :poke:
or any of the other free to me on demand stuff, from X1 Xfinity internet channels/aps stuff
it's included in my 'already way too high' Comcast Cable bundle bill...
(keep dad entertained, all damn day)

After dad goes to bed, I like to watch
Lots of old vintage drag racing stuff too, old 60's or 70's TV

movies, sort of recent
'Top Gun Maverick' wasn't too bad, it was watchable

the mini series, a couple seasons of, from a couple years ago
'Hell on Wheels' was pretty good, western mantra, watched all the seasons

'Fall Guy' wasn't horrible, not a good flick, but it is/was tolerable though

Ike (?) or Isenhower (?) with Tom Selleck was good

I like the old stuff far better, westerns or partners/buddies,
cop, spy or war movies, car movies/comedies
John Wayne, Kurt Douglas, Kurt Russel, Tom Selleck, Sam Elliot, Paul Newman :blah:
Even Strahan or Stallone, or Arnold's flicks, all the Reds series,
was entertaining, for newer stuff...
Even the Fast & Furious stuff, I bitch about, fake crap, but I watched all 10 of them...
Ford Vs Ferrari was decent, & I can't stand *Matt Damen either, but the content was OK...
(or *Ben Afleck, his butt buddy)

Sorry,
but almost 'nothing' out of Hollyweirdos today (West Coast SoCal)
or done from the East Coast, Hollyweirdos today (in Georgia now)
is not 'good' in my mind, either
most of it is all rehashed old stories, old scripts, old movies, w/new actors,
remakes, that aren't really better, rarely anyway...
Like their writer just gave up, no thoughts of their own & rehashed old stuff,
for more $$$/pay, no 'new' imagination anymore, everything is AI or CGI now
or gay...

Watched a good movie the other night. "The Hunter"...with Willem Dafoe. Aussie movie.

Well, I finally got around to watching the Seth MacFarlane movie "A million ways to die in the West" last night.

Expectations were low, given that I thought the Ted movies were garbage. Pleasantly surprised, I actually rate it highly.

So many gags and innuendo....awesome.
