Makes sense; was an assumption thinking cops (some anyway) have a pension. Sold her house for $90k - couldn't have been a palace..but nice bank roll. Just strange how a person evidently kind of all responsible would get crazy with a dude facing a murder charge...must have been a real charmer. Maybe she liked tall guys.

What is it with woman falling in love with murderers? I've asked my lady and female friends. And all say. "No idea." I think they not telling me the whole picture? Because this is not an isolated incident. I've used the "Bad boy" perception. With some success. But murderers? That's just crazy!

I met a guy at a dinner party a few years back that was a retired guard or supervisor or something like that at one of gray bar motels out here. We had a nice chat about what the job was like. He told me that if any of these prisoners lips are moving they’re lying. He says with all the time on their hands they live for the con while in house. It never stops - and encompasses almost every conceivable thing. It’s an every day game of cat and mouse. Which one is which? I couldn’t do that job for Putin’s money. It just seems like it would be incredibly depressing and a constant mind f*#k every day working with the lowest of the low in society. They’re not even the dregs - worse than that.

Years ago, while doing some contract work in prisons, I discussed the job with one of the guards. He described his job as months and months of sheer boredom interrupted occasionally by minutes of sheer terror.

I have seen it happen time and time again. Women being walked out by the State Police for being involved with an inmate, Male Corrections
That pretty much sums it up! I have seen employees escorted out for having relations with inmates. Married woman and men who blew their whole careers by hooking up with criminals.

Never really thought about it that way but makes sense. I have a friend who's son is in prison for 40 years for having a car crash that killed two people. He works in the laundry on the night shift to avoid all the BS that happens during the day. The unit he's in also has no AC and is pretty much in the heart of the East Texas Piney Wood in Livingston.....can only imagine what the place smells like.
Oh come on.
In the scheme of things I think men have a worse record for making bad decisions than women.

We had a woman who was married to an Officer who worked in the same building as him on the same shift who had an affair with the inmate who did the janitorial work in the records keeping section she worked in. She got fired and escorted out of the building right infront of her husband! A year before that her husband was in a motorcycle accident and was on life support and she wanted to sign the papers to unplug him. The doctor told her that he wasn't going to die! He figured that she was already screwing the inmate and was planning for a future with him after pulling the plug on him! These women are really screwed up!
