Guys - I'm a little confused on something I had a motor head tell me the other day that original six pack set up for a roadrunner was not the holly carbs with the edlebrock intake. Can someone clear this up for the sake of discussion? He told me mine which are the above brands were aftermarket. True or. It true? If he's correct - what came with the six pack??? I've had mine off a six pack RR since 1972. Thx for any and all responses.

Yes, the six pack (six barrel) on the road runner used Holley carbs. They even mentioned it in the ads.

Poly - you're the man! That's a great article and confirms what I always thought. Can't wait to discuss with my motor head friend.

Again, motorheads spouting what little they know about Mopars, they should stick to their Chevy/Ford humdrum. I wonder what he thinks was on the cars ? The only real difference is the early manifolds were aluminum, then Chrysler changed over to cast iron in 70.
