I don't think it's a GT, or a GT Chrome, at least by looking at vintage ads.

I don't see the outer grey circle in the ads.

I've had it since high school, came in the trunk of a 57 Chevy I bought.

I don't see any signs of the grey being painted over chrome.

I'd like to get another, but I don't know what I'm looking for.

What is it?

I believe that ad shows a one piece aluminum rim.

My rim is chromed steal with an aluminum center.

I don't know what they are called. But I remember seeing wheels in the late 70's that looked like Cragar SS wheels, but had white centers. I don't think they caught on very well....
I bought a pair of Cragar GTs at J.C. Pennys. They were chrome, looked just like the SS, but the area between the spokes at the lugs was black.

Cr This is a cragar G/T. Black in the center and kind of a greyish on the outside.
By the shape of your spokes,,, they are different then mine !! Kind of pointy rather then flat like mine. Not real sure if yours is a G/T or not ??

Just discovered what mine is, found the pic in the link below.

The camera doesn't capture the center very well, but after a little cleaning mine has that sparkle/grainy look, you can see it mostly on the edge of the center.

Set of 5 on ebag now for $2500.

Sorry Matthon, but they have been on the car since it was a year old.
Hard to get rid of them now.

One of the best rims ever made, the G/T.
There's a set of Cragar G/T spinner caps on ebag, for ridiculous $, but sweet.
