What does BOB WEIGHT exactly mean?!

While looking for stroker kits for my 340 block, I saw a term named BOB WEIGHT mentioned for some of the kits. Would you please tell me what this means? Is it better to be high or low? What kind of effect does it have on a performance engine operation?
