Are you certain? If it doesn't I want to know for a fact as I restore my '68. I'm fairly certain I am working with the original '68 GTX doors and some one did a shitty job deleting the holes in the door and left all the long lengths of MIG welding wire hanging on the inside where they plugged the holes. I found of series of such holes along the belt line / upper edge of the doors. I Know I am showing the molding laying on my '69, but the deleted holes I am talking about are on the '68,
That trim was available on 68, 69 and 70 including post or hardtop. I had a survivor 68 Road Runner post coupe with it on had the code on the fender tag and broadcast sheet.
I am about to pull out the 1/4 windows and I will look for evidence of them. That will seal the deal for me if there is evidence they were there. My prediction is that they were there and I will attempt to restore that trim on the car. Unfortunately at this point I only have the one piece and will need three more. Can we tell from the fender tag I posted earlier on this thread?
My car was original when I pulled it apart for the resto. I have the broadcast sheet/certacard/everything and I did not have this. The chart says 71 year and 69-70 on photon 440 reply. My brother in law did have that on his 68 dodge charger all original.
