I believe in 1969, 440 six pack Road Runners got black steel wheels, chrome lug nuts and no hubcaps, but what about 1970 440 six pack Road Runners that did NOT come with rally wheels? (either type).

If you ordered steel wheels, were they black or body color? Did you get poverty hubcaps? No hubcaps, black wheels & chrome lug nuts like 1969?

THANKS!

I have a friend with a 70 RR 440-6 that has body colored wheels and hupcaps from the factory and he has a 70 GTX 440-6 with the same.

My Bee has colored wheels and dog dish caps with red ring on them.Google it and you can see the wheels for your car. good luck.

6BBL and Hemi cars had 15" wheels, so I would think you could get any wheel cover that was available for a 15" wheel. Back in those days, you could order just about any combination you desired, as long as it resulted in a sale.

The 70 model 440 Six Barrel B-Body applications came standard with the 14 inch body color steel wheel with the poverty caps. The 15 inch rally wheels were an option for the cars. Finding the correct 70 model "242 " is very difficult and more difficult to come across than the "450" wheels, large font "H" Hemi wheel or the 68 Hemi wheel.
