Whats the secret to window adjustments?

I am finaly going to make time to adjustt my driver and passenger door roll up windows. With the door closed it is a bitch to roll up or down the windows. New rubber is installed but is there any adjustments? If I crack the rear windows of course the load is off.

Is there a guide or something?

Patience. That's the first thing you need. Careful measuring is the second. Some of the repro weatherstrip is too thick, or too wide, etc. Compare to your original stuff carefully.

I normally have the window rolled up all the way (without forcing it) then loosen the tracks and let them find their own center. Then tighten the hardware and try it. This is a good starting point.

Refer to your FSM for where all of the adjusters are and what they do.
