I have a friend with a relatively original '70 Dodge Bee.

The wheel opening edges of his car, front and back, are blacked out on the inside lip (where the trim molding goes). Is this correct for this car?

Would this also be correct for my '70 Plymouth GTX?

(Please see the attached photos.)

Wheel wells were blacked out with undercoating. Wheel well trim was bright just like the outside of the molding. Wheel wells painted black are more correct than left body color. I have never seen partially painted wheel well trim.

betting the owner was ****, and didn't like the yellow showing.

It's not the worst idea I ever saw. Painting the inner edges. Looks legit.

Thank you for the info, I just wanted to know what is factory correct.

(My friend's car's wheel edges were already painted when he got it, he didn't paint it.)
