Bought a set for my car but havent installed them yet. Was wondering if anyone has and how was the fit/finish of them are. I did put one on a wheel well and think I might need to "massage" them to work.

Thanks

I don't have any close up pics but they look pretty good. They are not a perfect fit but probably as good as factory was. When I get home this evening I can take a couple of close ups.

I would describe them as acceptable for repos of 47-year old parts. Have to disagree that they are as good as the originals were when new however.

My original '65 Barracuda had a lot of rust under the factory wheel well moldings when I took them off to restore the car. I wonder if all cars with moldings in that area will suffer a physical deterioration in exchange for the aesthetics of using the moldings? Parents had the moldings on their new '71 Road Runner, but it was sold after only a couple of years on the road, so never a problem for them.

Installed them on my ‘71 RR. The fronts fit better than the rears. I also had to add a few extra screws to get them tighter to the opening in a spot or two.
