I picked up a spring for my 70 RR Air Grabber and I just can't figure out where it installs on the main shaft. I also can't figure out how to take the darn thing apart!
Where Does This 70 Air Grabber Spring Go?

That one goes on the shaft between the actual flapper & shaft near the cover on the end. It looks like its ready to come of but you'll need to pull the clevis pins that go though the sides of the door that are covered up by the decals. May need to slice the decals & replace them.
I have mine disassembled & most metal is blasted. Give me a few minutes & I'll grab a few pics. Mines a 71', but it is very similar...enough to help you anyway.
