Which Playmate scored the best PMOTY car?

Karen McDougal

Car: 1998 Shelby Series 1

I'm going to say the one with the Series 1 Shelby
the photo in that piece was of a csx Cobra/continuation,
it's not a Series 1, that'd still be the best

or any of the Porsche 911's, especially the Cabriolet
or even the 928

or the Countache' Cailfornia (probably most value)

or maybe the 72 DeTomaso Pantera (nice Ford)

then the girl that got the 66 Charger

then the girl that got the 68 Barracuda Fastback

then maybe the 69 Shelby GT500

I feel bad for the girl that got the (POS) Capri

I hate Pink
unless
now the young ladies,
would be a whole different list of criteria

Porsche 928

I'd be worried that the 928 already has to much electronic crap on it.
I got a 1989 Mercedes 560 SEC and now that it idles rough i found out about all the electronic crap that it got...

I'd bet parts are ridiculously expensive too. (As like the mercedes) :mob:

I'll go with the Countach, Pantera & Shelby Mustang. The one who won the Mercury Debris got screwed.

Ive owned two Panteras There my favorite regardless.

Any of the Porsche 911 coupes. The '79 Porsche 928 is good, but not nearly as desirable as the 1989 & on 928. Get one with a manual transmission of course.

The Bosch Jetronic fuel injection and digital motor electronics system are very good. I've disassembled/reassembled the K-Jetronic without any issues. DMEs are fine. The 1984 & on fuel and engine electronics are even better.

What will put you in the poorhouse with a 928 are the interior trim pieces and upholstery. A prospective 928 buyer should find one with a very good interior.

The right 928 would be fun, but you will never ever get any of your money back when you sell.

You can't go wrong with an air-cooled 911. They have a cult-like following and owners are fanatical to some degree:D. Also, lots and lots of parts and mods available. The 911 is very well supported by the aftermarket.

My other picks would be Hope Dworaczyk and BMW S1000RR motorcycle...in THAT order.:)
