Some of you know my build....see "B Body stiffening" thread in this forum.
I am at the point of selecting tires. I have to run 17" wheels to clear the calipers from the 07 Charger and I am going with American Racing Torque Thrust D rims 8" wide.
I know I am somewhat limited because of this size. What I am interested in is handling, wear,noise mostly. I would like to use a 245/60 17 or as close as possible to that, mainly because I want some sidewall height. I am not going to race this car so that is not a factor.
Just looking for some input on experiences to help me with this decision. I thought this thread would be a good place seeing as how the car would match those respondents experience in a similar B Body
PS Did I mention I REALLY dislike the "rubber band" look on ANY muscle car?
