I was in DC for a conference last week and took some time to visit the Smithsonian Air & Space museums. The museum on the national mall is still half closed for renovations which was a bit disappointing, but the Udvar-Hazy annex out by Dulles more than made up for it.

Many aren't aware that the Navy flew F16s also. They were used as aggressors for training. This TF16N is from the Top Gun fighter weapons school. They were not used for long, they got beat to death and were retired after around 6 years in 1995.
