ALL I SEE IS FOR 440 ENG. THANKS
Not being an ass but does it matter? Is it car specific to where its installed?
I got mine from TTI several years ago, haven't checked their catalog lately to see if they are no long listed.
Check with Accurate Exhaust Products, Oregon 541 672 2661, Mopar is all they do.
have one made or make one?
Nice & tidy Sonny!
I think you will have to have one made, 383 cars did not come with H pipes from the factory to my knowledge.
At first I thought this was a dumb question ,but, from the factory.. did 383 have different size exhaust pipe than 440?........................MO
I believe 2 1/4 vs 2 1/2
Call TTi, talk to Mike Raby, they should have it. http://www.ttiexhaust.com/Category-ClassicExhaust/ComponentParts.htm#hp
Tom has done 5 complete exhausts for me and all fit perfect and he is verygood at what he does. just my .02
I bought TTI from these guys, best prices you'll find on this exhaust, they have both H and X pipe http://www.chicagoconnection.us/index.php?main_page=index&manufacturers_id=4&sort=20a&page=11 my exhaust sounds fantastic!
corn, there is no such thing as a dumb question,if you do not know then you better ask?if you do not then that is dumb,no problem corn, you are cool.
LOL I was talking about your question, then realized , it's not dumb at all. I had a friend make me a real neat looking X pipe-made to my specs, and when he got done...I could have bought one ready made for less money ! .............................MO
bought my PYPES system for 67 383 from Summit recently - decent price. It was X crossover but believe they have H as well.
Since the 383 is narrower than a 440 and the pipes are closer together, it could affect the 'H' as well.
Flowmasters new B body exhaust system. I like the dynomax sound but this is not bad.
Exactly. Going from my 413 to 451, the header flanges were significanty narrower, maybe 1-1/2" or so.
So the exhaust routing (underside) is different from a 440???? I would have thought that once it turned along the bottom it would be the same width...???... Thanks for the education!
If you already have the downpipes/exhaust installed you could have a shop install a crossover.
