Will these tires fit?

I've got a pair of Hoosier 295/60/15s going on 8" wheels. Please, does anyone know if they are going to fit my stock 68 Coronet?

I would qualify that statement just a bit. With a perfect offset rim (I'm not sure if it would be 4.5" or 5" of backspacing) and perhaps acceptance of a little rubbing, they should fit. The important thing is to do your homework. Ideally, that size tire should have a wider rim, like 9" or 10", although I'm sure many have run 8" riims.

I don't run that size tire on my car, but there are others who do who can chime in with more specifics.

Probably not. 7 inch 255 60 15's will, the 8 inch wheels will get the fenders.
