Windshield trim removal 67 gtx

GREETINGS!
HOW DO THE STAINLESS/CHROME TRIM STRIPS AROUND THE WINDSHIELD GET REMOVED??
DO THEY PRY OFF? SLIDE OFF? POP OFF? WTH! i need to get them off to polish/restore them and obviously don't want to bend or break anything.

any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

you need a trim tool to slide under and release the clip to let the trim pop loose .

Never heard of it being done that way. My suggestion is get the correct trim tool and you will have no worries. Just my 2 cents....:yes:
