We may get winds in excess of 70mph tonight and it has started to blow so I was checking out this site for real-time info. It came in real handy during the wild fires as you could see the prevailing wind patterns and have a little better guess as to where a fire was heading. Thought I'd pass it along in case anyone was interested in weather type stuff. https://www.windy.com/
70 mph is just a slight breeze in comparison.... For nearly sixty-two years, Mount Washington, New Hampshire held the world record for the fastest wind gust ever recorded on the surface of the Earth: 231 miles per hour, recorded April 12, 1934 by Mount Washington Observatory staff. https://www.mountwashington.org/about-us/history/world-record-wind.aspx
The wind blew here last night.45 mph+ Sound like a train running past the house. High winds are common in the Colorado river corridor.
