I posted this under my thread on my car in the Project Car section as well. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong or missing. I’m trying to take the 2spd wiper motor off. I’ve taken off the nut that attaches to the linkage and the three nuts on the firewall studs. I can’t get the linkage off the stud. Am I missing something else?

There's a nut on the inside that holds the linkage arm on.
Put some painters tape with an arrow marking the orientation of the arm.
If you put it back together off 180 deg. the wipers will move down instead of up.
(Ask me how I know)

What year car are you working on? On my 69, if you take the radio and ashtray receiver out, it will give you easy access to the nut

I got the nut off but can’t get the arm off.
