I'm wiring my 68 GTX up and changing and adding circuits and wondering if this pic is the welded splice
in the dashboard wiring? I've never seen an electrical symbol like this and deducted that that's what it is!
I'm hooking up an electric choke on an "Eddy" carb and just want to know. Thanks Guys!

Just find the feed side of the ballast resistor and connect there.

Sometimes the factory spot welds wires together to get the splice. They do that because of reduced and localized heat. They are difficult to find at times because they are usually buried in the harness.

That splice is in the bowels of the dash harness.
In other words " these aren't the droids you're looking for"

I'd say your math is correct!

Oh, I found it while re-taping my harness! I had a bunch of "Pink" wires burned and melted together
and had to replace them. I believe they were for the four-way flashers. I did the Ammeter bypass and
want to use the bulkhead connector for the original 12Ga. feed wire for the choke wire since I eliminated
it. Thanks everyone!
