Im in the process of restoring my 1970 Superbee. I am in the process of mocking up several things at the moment. The problem I have is that I am missing nuts, bolts and some basic hardware. Plus I would feel more comfortable changing out some of the used hardware that came off the car to begin with. Im looking for your preference for hardware & where you may have purchased it. I would rather buy in bulk or in kits for certain areas of the car if possible. I have checked R/T Specialties but when I went to order just 3 sleeve nuts for my exhaust manifolds they wanted $13 just to ship those 3 sleeve nuts. I felt as if I was getting ripped off I got away from their site after that. Any help will be appreciated.

R/T has the "correct" part for some items where there are cheaper quality ill fitting copies out there by other sellers... With R/T you can order in confidence you will get the right part.I ordered a lot of items from him and never felt gouged for shipping. I guess cost for everything goes up, box + packing + shipping...I know when i ship things at UPS or USPS it is never cheap unfortunately...

Mega Parts has a lot of odds and ends also. They are always very decent on shipping charges.

Never heard of them before - will have to check them out.

If you don't care about originality and want quality hardware in bulk I like McMaster Karr. I was able to get all new clip nuts "fender nuts", all stainless bolts, screws you name it even some real nice wire sheathing that mimics the old woven look. Everything is sold in 10, 25, 50 or 100 packs depending on what it is "excellent selection". Google the name and check out they're catalog.
