I remember a Hemi Superbird sitting on a Dodge/Plymouth lot in mid 70s for $6k. Sat for months. (The yellow paint didn't help) Had we only knew!

Thanks for bringing up Ray’s name. I’ll have to give him a ring this week and chew the fat with him.

WOW, $59k for a color changed car is nuts
I paid less than that for my 66 Hemi car , right at a year ago. Considerably less.

A buddy of mine bought a 66 Hemi Satellite about 6 months ago for $60k, 4spd car
A white 67 GTX , with red and white interior sold this past weekend at Mecum for 110k.

When I was looking back the summer of 2019 67 GTXs were all over in the low 30s range. I almost bought a really nice 67 GTX , PP1 red, white interior, with aftermkt air. for $32 all in

NOW, is NOT the time to buy if you are after a deal, IMO

I remember being at an auction sale in St. Thomas, Ontario in 1978 or 1979 and seeing a Hemi 'Cuda sell for $900.00. This was way before buyer's fees. Purple with white vinyl top and guts. 4-speed with Dana 60. It sat on a gas station lot for sale for 3 or 4 months before this. Gas crunch was on and nobody wanted these gas guzzlers.

You'd wonder about that. I paid $6,000 for my Superbird in Sept. of 1979. And $4,800 for a non original Hemi Satellite in 1980. Maybe the Cuda had a blown engine???
