I purposely kept the amount low. It narrows the field. Even if it's a POS what do you buy?

A crappy A or C body?

A driver quality third generation Charger or Satellite is probably attainable in the 10k range. Some A body drivers could also be bought for that money as well. C body cars as well, but they are harder to get your money back on if you want out.

There is an imperial near me for i think 8500 that is shockingly clean... i love C-bodies

None. I pull out and rebuild the engine in my Coronet.
I should have looked for a Coronet when i got my car.. a '67 coronet was my first cat.. slant six with giant rust holes... drove the piss outa that thing :)

Been thinking of a 66-67 Charger lately. I'd get the best body, most complete one I could and work on getting it up to snuff.

Not sure you can buy any running-driving classic Mopar for $10k these days, but I would try to get a good deal on a '67 Coronet.

You probably could find a decent driver quality Córdoba, Magnum or ‘79 300 with that budget.

I kinda like '63 Imperials. I think $10,000 would buy a pretty good one. I already have a '67 Coronet.

If it has to be a car, I don't need or want to insure any more vehicles, so I'd buy something economical and in good working order and give it to someone deserving. Otherwise I'd blow it on a dirt bike or a quad.

If it didn't have to be a car it would go toward paying my house off.... sooo close now

Actually, I would probably scoop up some sort of AMC. A Rambler, Gremlin X, Rebel, Marlin etc. They are always on the cheaper side and they did have some cool cars.

I had 2 Rebels when i was a kid... i wish i had kept the 67 :( I would kill for a Gremlin X with a 401/4speed... or LS if the 401 is dead :) a V8 American would also be awesome.. make a scrambler clone

For me, it's a 1970 Dodge Monaco or Polara. I had a '70 Monaco daily driver for a few years in my mid-20's, 383 2-bbl, love the design from front to rear, from the single loop front bumper, rear bumper and taillights, to the reverse lights in slits above the rear bumper. Reliable and powerful. I had Keystones on it and it looked mean. I'd want a 2-door.

I love my '70 Charger and I think my affinity for the same-year Monaco/Polara was because they shared so many styling cues.

Not mine...but I'll take one just like it, please!

I haggled down the seller to $1200 for this....
Complete, un-restored, un-molested original.....
