niceeee.....got your pm....now i know what you were talking about. thanx for gettin the Javelins on film. i took my 72 Jav on its maiden voyage yesterday... believe it or not.....that little 304 2bbl spins those tires like nobodys business. i was surprised.,,,,and i havent touched the engine yet!

that must have been a great car show....great cars! thanx! THE DAWWWWWWWWG

Thanks for the pics. I realized I had forgotten my phone (camera) about half way there!

Surprising cross ram car turnout this year!

...and lots more cars were selling at auction into the low 20's...must be the economy picking up.

Most of the car corral prices were just too dang high, though. Nothing really under $6500, except that 57 2 door chevy wagon project.

Javelin

After I sent PM I looked at photos again and then I was not sure if you would understand...The 72 Javelin 401 was an Alabama State Police car I thought I got close enough so you could see the plates...It has been a while since I have seen a nice Javelin up close..The Gold AMX was nice too......Rick.

- - - Updated - - -There were 3 of those Black 1960 Dodge 's I think I remember they were 300's and 2 were Hemi's...The Cross Ram was $50,000 the one with the inline was $45,000..I forgot what the non Hemi was...The Blue 65 Dodge Ragtop was being sold by that guy Ted from South Beach Classics in Miami on Discovery T.V. and was way over priced at $18,000 decent driver 318 but, not at his asking. The Red 68 Super Bee up close had enough waves in the sides to make a Sailor Sea Sick wanted $12,000...Sublime 72 Challenger asking $32,000....Red 67 GTX Ragtop was $29,000 but, was a clone...The 67 Blue Coronet had a Hemi from a 66 car came with 361 he wanted $45,000..I talked to him awhile since he had N.H. plates were I grew up..I agree pricing seemed high...I got there late about 2:30 ..I too got 2 miles from my house and had to turn around to get my camera..The bigger show will be in Feb. I will buy you a Beer or ? in Feb if you are going...I had Fun..Rick.

That cop Javelin had a couple paragraphs of backstory on a placard. I didn't read all of it, bit it was neat.

The 69 "Bee" is also a clone and has been for sale for quite a while down here.

The Blue Coronet, IIRC, is a 66, just has a 440 tim grille instead of the correct 500 style.
NICE car, but not for 40K+

Silver Duster's been for sale for a while, too, and I think the asking price has actually gone up!

Bost 65 Coronets were real nice and solid, but I agree, overpriced by about 50%.
Same deal for both 65 Barracudas.

...and Challenger was a 318 car IIRC.

Z-Hills

I forgot I had this photo of a 68 Cuda project one you must of saw too..Wanted like $4700 or so..Car was rough and had no interior or dash and 318..I was thinking $2500...Near close of show was still for sale.. That 68 Super Bee looked like junk to me and I think a Fiber Glass hood cracked all over for a 69 1/2 RR ..Car was so rough looking I did not even look at dash Vin, so no surprise it was a clone. I am guessing a 5 Gal bucket of Bondo on it...The Duster had a Roll bar and Bucket seats looked like they came out of a Dune Buggy turned me off...Every year I go I see cars so over priced and never sell in the outer lot I think owner just wants people to see their Ride never thinking some one will pay asking price...
