Have no idea what the metal strap with numbers is. Also threw away the build sheet from lower cushion years ago(!)

My '70 Charger buckets have a similar metal tag that is hog-ringed, at one end, to a seat spring. My tag is a somewhat wider strip than yours and it has two rows of numbers. The first row looks like a part number. The second row is a date; and (FWIW) that date is approximately 6 weeks prior to the production date on my fender tag.

Made two new door cards, fabricated the turn down for the right side and sewed up the top outside edge. Bought a 13" wide strip and bent the edges up for the center trough. Got some long wheel studs for my birthday from my son.

Drove the hell out of the GTX today, it's 65 degrees and sunny here, amazing for the end of November.

Bought a new piece of steel, 18ga this time, to fabricate the roadster panel left half. Needed the extra stiffness so it would hold its shape of a slight curve. Worked out very well. I believe I will get another tomorrow and redo the right half. I can always find a use for the 20ga later. Removed the right door,...again.....and set about figuring out how to incorporate the curved pull handle versus the flat one. I found that if I cut away the stock plastic panel from around the handle, and trim a little steel from the door, that I could get the curved portion I need to keep down close enough to the door panel that It didn't interfere with closing the door. I have decided, after some research, that I am going to use some expanding foam to build out around the remaining bits so that I can contour portions of the door the way I need to, so it will match up with the dash end and also not interfere with the wing window opening. I laid out the new door card and cut the hole for the speaker and located the armrest. Finally got the curved door handle assembly located correctly and now I can spray the foam so after it hardens I can shave and sand it to what I need.

Tuesday I helped Uncle Bill on his daily driver 2016 RAM 1500 Eco-Diesel Limited truck. We installed a leveling trick he found on a RAM forum. It involves swapping the plastic parts for threaded ones with metal swivel joints. This tricks the leveling system computer on the Air Ride system so you can set the front height where you want to. We set it to drop it 1 3/8" in the front. Somehow the computer lowered the rear about 1/2", too.

We went to the tire store Wednesday to swap out his stock wheels for some new wheels by Fuel and new Toyo tires to complete the new look and stance.

The black parts are stock and the stainless are the replacements.

Here's how it looks installed on the Air Ride sensor.

I started de-trimming the '71 Charger for another trip to the paint shop. I was not happy with quality of the last paint job once I got it out in the sun out from under the florescent lights. The pearl was uneven on the roof and the metallic stripe was uneven. So, it's getting redone again, hopefully for the last time. Still trying to choose a new color.

My daughter and son-in-law brought the grand kids over for lunch Sunday. They hadn't seen the Coronet. I gave them the tout and fired her up. The adults said, "nice" one of the girls said, "it's loud and smells like gas".

I took my hellcat out for exercise today cause the sun came out. (it's been soggy wet for a few weeks).
Shortly after I got back home I got an email from dodge that was a --monthly vehicle health report. What I suspect happened is when my car came alive it sent data to wherever data goes and triggered a response to let me know my car was just fine. Engine, trans, fluids, brakes, safety, etc. it even told me the tire pressure at all for corners.
I knew all of this stuff as I drove but wondered what my report would have been if I had pushed 150mph (for example). Would I have received a shame on me report? Or a thank you for a good refreshing run?
Be aware of these new cars. They may not just be a loyal pet. They could rat you out.
