I called during the day in the middle of a week.Hmmm...the plot thickens....closed on Saturday?
I took mine to a local chrome shop,he took them in the back and came back he said they don't fit in his tank.My problem is that I added a couple of inches to the middle and I cant find a shop that will do the work.
Evidently, this is the place I thought was Keystone auto body supply , now owned by another company. They must have a deal worked out with Northstar. Brainard is not a very big city to have two chrome platers. They do very good work at a very good price. Not paying shipping either way is a big plus in my book..................................MO

That's middle of the road price, not bad.I was quoted $1000 for the 2 bumpers on my 63
Just stopped at a 37 year old shop in t to ask about my bumpers on my Coronet. $350 each, 2 weeks. After turkey day they are going in.
Royal Plating in Tucson.
Phukin EPA put a hurtin on good chrome!!Chroming is an expensive business to run , as chemicals must be changed out regularly and disposal cost are not cheap. Vats need to be cleaned on a scheduled basis or you get crappy results. I have known guys who got into it only to shut down a year later due to overhead costs mentioned above. That is largely why prices are where they are...and a lot of production chroming is done overseas.
Lol.YES!
Guess I need to get these to the chromer.YES!
