Is there a way to figure out build date from last 7 digits of VIN? My 70 Runner is missing fender tag and no build sheet. It is a ST. Louis built car. thx in advance.
Originally 383 airgrabber, 4 speed, buckets with buddy seat, décor package, wood grain steering wheel. All the airgrabber stuff still on the hood but engine, trans gone and 489 case swapped out with a 742. needs trunk floor and a roof skin. S.Carolina car quite solid. Thought I had gold when I...
I had a 70 Runner that was originally t6 burnt tan but was painted dark blue when I got it. Sold it before I had a chance to start on it to fund another project.......debating on one of these yellows or possibly BL1....
yes, gvw is the maximum loaded weight, strange why the form asks for curb weight (empty) and gvw. I appreciate the input. I'm going to try and call the S.Carolina dmv again and see if I can get a helpful person this time, I'm hoping they will have a copy of title on file.
3450 sounds good for curb weight as in no passengers or loads, what about GVW rating. Thanks for the input guys......this title thing is a real pain, Title was in my truck when it was stolen. I brought the car back from S.Carolina.
I did look at that site and shows one weight number but hesitated to use that number cuz more options on a car it would be heavier than mine.... ex a 440 sixpack auto car with power steering etc as oppose to a fairly bare 383 stick car .
Does anybody have info or can help. Need the GVW for replacement title for my '70 R'Runner 383 4speed 2 door post bucket seat car. original airgrabber car as well. No power steering. Form asks for empty weight and GVW. Thanks in advance.........
fender tag is P6B5, according to some they say some of the trim/carpet should be a darker blue than B5. The company I ordered from sent a light blue headliner and med blue carpet.
'70 Runner, the B5 interior is long gone. So going through catalogs, they list colors for carpet, headliner etc. such as light blue, med. blue, dark blue. But none of the catalogs specify exactly what color for what year/ model so without the original stuff a color match is not possible. Also...
