Looking for aftermarket vented gas caps for a 66 Belvedere. What are you 66 guys using in place of the outrageously priced one year only cap? I need to replace my current non vented with a vented cap. Thanks for your help. Thanks Steve

There are some things that I will dish out the money for. A gas cap is not one of those things. Car looks good without!

Dont worry. The cap is not the original 66 only cap. I refuse to pay $500 for a gas cap. The cap on it is a Stant g28. I believe it is non-vented. So I guess I will try to find a replacement vented cap. Pic is current cap I'm using.

Yes, everything was fine 6 weeks ago. All mentioned fuel system work was done early 2016.

Vent lines are whatever the stock set up was for 66. Filler tube etc... non-vented gas cap

Two different stations. I would say weather was very similar all three times. 80 degrees lower humidity.

Gas tank was half full when filled. New tank, sending unit and lines last year. Hopefully there isn't a bunch of junk in it already. Lol

Just seems weird that if it was/is a bad tank of gas, why would it not run like crap all the time? Seems like I wouldn't have been able to drive roughly 100 miles from first stalling issue to when I had to get it towed home. Same gas the whole time.
