Mopar Fan Clutch

I don't know about that. Here's a pic of mine with the factory 054 radiator re-cored with 4 rows and the taller Hayden 2747 fan clutch.

Having worked on cars for fifty years or so I've never had a problem with air lock in a cooling system. Maybe I'm just lucky? I usually fill the cooling system and run the car until coolant circulates without the radiator cap. After the coolant is circulating I top it off then install the cap. In the olden days my mentor taught me to do it this way. Could that make a difference?
Most older cars had the rad. cap higher than the engine/ thermostat, a lot of newer ones don't. I built a 600 horse /406 sbc vega, the radiator was lower on it , and I had to raise the front to get the air out of it. Also added the coolant return lines that some chevy boys use, which helped greatly. I have even thot about rigging some on my 440/505, but haven`t got much of a cooling problem.

Hmm, I'm using the same fan clutch. Does your car have power steering? Is the power steering belt in front of or behind the AC belt? The power steering belt on mine is in front of the AC belts.

My power steering belt is behind the AC belt. It sits between the AC and Alternator belts on the crank pulley.

Interesting. Even an old guy like me learns something new from time to time.

I should say I did not install the AC on this car. It was done by a shop using a Classic Auto Air kit.
