    The GTX (1969 Plymouth GTX)

I wasn't super confident I'd find it spectacular, but I'm going to go back and grab this comment because you were right. Thanks for sticking with me. Just need to keep the work moving forward, now. So much easier with the car being mobile under it's own power again.

Here's a picture from post #99 of my build thread, which may be useful. Tom at R/T specialties sells the clips if you don't want to reuse your existing ones.

10 Real-Life Examples Of Why American Measurements Are Better Than The Communist Metric System

Good ol' RC is just winding people up to see who would fall for it. :) It's easy, when you distort the figures. When his article mentions that "The metric system was invented by Communists to overthrow capitalism and institute a New World Order.", he really wants to divert attention that the...

    Sad day for the Roadrunner…

Bummer. Glad you were not hurt. I second the battery disconnect. Been through the whole thing with burn scars to prove it. Having had a car fire myself I do not leave any old car in the garage or shop with a connected battery, and I do not keep gasoline cans inside. They live in a locked metal...

No spark when cranking but tries to fire as soon as I let off the key.

Post #25 is incorrect. Voltage to the coil IS critical. All coils are designed to work with a certain supply voltage. Supplying the coil with less than that voltage might result in no spark produced.

Road noise and how to reduce it

A short time ago as I was working on Dwayne's Plymouth.... I was reminded of the noise that is generated by the engine fan.... In his car, the 7 blade fan made less noise than the 6 blade. A few factors are at play though. The shape of the blades, the angle of them and the spacing between...

How much carb is too much carb

The Torker intake is not a good intake for Torque. That is why Edelbrock used a different spelling. They knew it didn't make Torque so they called it a Torker. I learned that lesson the hard way! Back in the 80's when I first started working on cars I saved up my money and bought a Torker intake...

The assaholics just keep coming....Kyle Busch now but most of us already knew that he's

Heard about this when he first got busted. I've often wondered how much his payoff was to keep from ending up in a Mexican prison. Not one of my favorites when it comes to NASCAR drivers. And his brother is even wackier. Kinda like Randy Quaid.
