For Sale: SSBC 154-5 Disc Brake kit for converting front drums to disc brakes. This kit is new in the boxes and never used, the reason I am selling is because I ended up going back to all stock instead of performance. Picture shows what comes in the kit, it has 4-piston calipers and 11.25"...

'63 brake booster swap to newer

For future reference, since forums should be a place to spread knowledge and help others: I found the cheapest route was to downgrade to manual brakes, for now. It turns out, new drum brake boosters seem impossible to find, or cost more than the price to rebuild my stock Midland Ross Gen1...

'63 brake booster swap to newer

Hi I need to fix my brake booster on my '63 Dodge 880, on the cheap. It has stock drums. Does anyone know if the later mopars use the same bolt pattern between the booster and firewall, as I would like to swap to an A-body booster, or something cheap and available. Cardone had one, now not...

    1963, 383 cheap power upgrades

Thanks for all the great replies. I have considered putting a cam in- in the future, but I haven't fully decided on keeping this car. I am more of an A-body guy and more into '67-up. I am stuck with the Holley 670 for now, but I will be tuning it by wideband o2 once I get the exhaust put on. I...

    1963, 383 cheap power upgrades

Hi folks, I am looking to make some power upgrades to my 1963 383 engine. The previous owner put a Holley 670 street avenger and Mopar dual plane intake, and it still has the stock single exhaust and a midas muffler. The book says it was 10:1 compression, and I've heard they had around 300hp...

    62 Trans Help/Buttons

Like mentioned above, the clicking sounds like the parking pawl maybe partially engaged. Also when the Park lever is not ~all the way~ to the left (OFF), the neutral button is stuck in by the Park lever. A spring holds the park lever OFF or ON, and if it breaks, the park lever will appear OFF...
