There was a question about VIN # tags earlier .So when I looked closer at mine I noticed that the stamping was different between the first 2 digits as compared to the last sequence. Does this look right?

I have just purchased this car. The fender tag indicates that from the factory it was a 426 wedge with a 4 speed.
How can it be determined whether it was just a wedge or a max wedge engine.It is a bit confusing so a little info would be greatly appreciated.

3- it has a big block with an engine # "Teter 138" on the deck
4- the car was sponsored or built by Teter Automotive in...

The car was sponsered by Teter Automotive and has a Teter engine in it.
Larry Teter died in 2004. He was a NHRA champion in "62" & "63".
