That video really answers my question. Looks like a decent and fun show. i think I’ll try to get over there.
Ive always liked the Farmington show best too.
Anyone ever attended the Mopar Show at the NC Transportation Museum in Spencer, NC?? It’s this Saturday the 19th from 9-3. Show is put on by the NC Plymouth Owners Club. I’m thinking about going but it’s a good 2 1/2 hour drive for me and just wondering what to expect?
Was planning to go along with my Son, but the weather isn't looking very good... once again! I missed the Farmington show last year because of rain and was really looking forward to Rockingham this year since I haven't been to it in about 10 years, but...
Its about 4 hour drive for me so...
Looks like you did get a bit of rain. Between the threat of rain and the distance I backed out. Wanted to go but…
I saw where the show flyer had judging from 9am til noon and tried to find out if this meant that show cars needed to be set up by 9am, but never got an answer. I would have needed...
I was ready to buy 6 weeks ago. Having sold my car back in October I was sitting on some cash and had spent many winter nights searching the net. Had two real good prospects 6 weeks back, the most interesting I had gone to look at .... and then this crap hit.... As I watched 25-30% of my money...
Certainly can’t be a good time to be selling... I sold my car back in October at what I thought then was a decent price. I’m sure glad it sold when it did though....
What do you think / see this pandemic doing to the price of our hobby cars? I can’t help but think that selling prices must be tanking but I’m not seeing it yet with online listing prices. Peoples savings value cut by 25%, historic unemployment not to mention all shows and classic car events...
I know cash is best (with bills tested by pen) but some people are understandably worried carrying a large amount of cash across several states. I have someone coming to buy my car. We’ve agreed on a price but he has not seen it in person. Even though we have agreed on a deal by phone I know he...
How is everyone receiving payment for cars they sell these days?? It used to be that Bank Checks, Certified Checks were as good as gold. You could receive one in payment and it was the same as cash. In recent years I keep running into bank delays of 7-10 days while they “clear” a check. Is this...
I haven't been there in about four years. Even then the place was still amazing. Most of the cars were rotting into the ground. Jackie's nephews were helping her liquidate parts and all but they were extremely high on prices.
I'm guessing Billy West Peedin's place north of Fayetteville? Billy was a big time drag racer back in the day. His wife (Jackie?) Also raced an AMC Rebel.
I've used it before to clean industrial machinery for painting. Worked good and evaporated fully after spraying. Of course all the rust and scale debris will still be there. Another positive is that it is cold as sprayed.
