I've owned it since 1992. The body was done in 93, and is starting to show it. If I only knew a reputable body and paint guy.....
Edit- I do know of a guy in Jersey, but ...... he's very good, expensive and likes to turn everything into a fileted fish carcass first.
I don't bring the Roadrunner anymore. I used to trailer it down and do the tenting thing many years ago. That got old quickly with the wife, kids, and a dog. Now I take the camper, live in comfort and enter the truck in the show just for ease of entry and parking.
And yes, I still have the...
Not to hijack this thread, but if anyone is thinking about staying in Western Village it would be best to try for a site ASAP. Almost all the sites are sold out for that weekend. It wouldn't hurt to be put on a cancelation list. I reserve for the next year before I leave to assure the same site.
Sssshhhh........no need to draw attention.
Actually at Western Village RV park, same place the last 30 years. I have enough seniority there to have a primo spot near the pool. Lots of Carlisle attendees stay there.
Maybe you can stop at Advance Auto and have a "specialist" look at it.
:poke:
They can even install the new battery for ya. Aaannndddd get a new set of ultra Mud & Snow winter wiper blades, installed by the same specialist.
Merry Christmas
I was always under the assumption the last 6 digits were the actual serial # for each year.
Theoretically:
69 RR - RM23H9A111069, and no other 111069 could be built that year of any Chrysler model.
No Coronets, no Valiants, no Chargers, etc.
70 RR- RM23NOA111069, OK because it's a different...

MOPAR Header/Exhaust Manifold Gasket
Get rid of those Felpro's with the built in heat shield. Or trim yours to look like these.

Big Block Header Gaskets
You weren't, until now. Now EVERYONE on the World Wide Web knows......
It's a shame mine, errr this guy I know, his stash went down on the Edmund Fitzgerald.
Wow, back in the day I heard of a guy who had a bunch of them given to him by a local hometown Dodge dealer.
It's a good thing for him they were all lost in a tragic boating accident many years ago.
We've all done stupid things, mostly in our youth to cars.
I'm not a fan of green cars either Kern. But when you get to the pearly gates, that big green 300 will be there to transport you to a special place.
You need to ask the C body gods for forgiveness.
My Father in law would routinely park his garden tractor in the fall, and every spring would have to call the local Cub Cadet dealer to come get it. He always scoffed at me using ethanol free in everything but our modern cars. Gas is gas is what he said, no matter how old it is. Well, the last...
Somewhere around 5.25765 cases of beer and 3 rings of smoked kielbasa.
It gets lighter after 1.24565 cases are consumed but more difficult to manipulate. It weighs much much more the next morning trying to remove it from the neighbors fishing boat.
anyone good at date coding?
Here is the suspect weak link in my ratty truck. Identified as an 8.25 with a 3.21 gear which may be getting replaced with a Durango SG rear.
Haha, my first RED X.
Have to disagree with you this time.
I have one in my 64 truck, how it got there who knows. Junking it was certainly my plan as I searched for an 8 3/4 to properly replace it. Finding an 8 3/4 on my el cheapo budget has become nearly impossible. My junkyard owner buddy came...
