1968 Coronet Faux RT: Hello to all you fellow B Body Addicts for which there is no known cure. This car started life as a yellow/white coronet 500 but was later cloned by previous owner to an R/T. Color changed to red at that time and stripes added. Born with 383 but someone put in a decent 440. Was automatic but we converted to 5 speed Tremec with pistol grip shifter and neutral safety switch on the clutch. Now has "firm feel" steering and push button start with Flaming River Tilt steering and smaller Grant steering wheel. Mechanic (moparresto.com) recently installed Holley Sniper EFI with new fuel lines/fuel pump/gas tank and starts/runs flawlessly now. Updated Painless wiring and MSD ignition along with Wilwood front discs. Classic air R-134 and updated buckets from onlineupolsteryandmore with interior/top/boot now "bright" white rather than off white from factory. Has subframe connectors and underhood bracing. Sound-deadening added when seats pulled and carpet changed. Added 17 Magnums last year with Diamondback redlines and ride is good. Driver and continuing project. Thanks for looking.
