Long hard work finishing body and painting
About this Mopar:
I have been working on my Belvedere for quite a few years. I did body and paint work for 30 years, am now 72 and it is getting harder. My 66 is a shell, interior is gone and engine is on my patio. Rebuilding it this next spring. Keeping the stock 318 wide block poly, with a two bbl carb, and 727 tranny. Friday night, after much hard work on a rough almost rust free body, finally painted it. Next is interior and engine. This car is as straight as I can get it. I think the body lines are perfect. I need many small parts yet, and have to finish getting the rest of my weather strip, need a trunk latch, spring is broken, all regulators being pulled as they are so dirty windows almost cannot be moved. And my front bumper and back bars were stolen, so now need that also. Dash pad replace along with head liner, and redo seats, they are all rotten.. This is my last project. Being on SS limits what I can spend on her. Check out the reflections in my body work. Damn good I think.
