Saw the Allman bros couple times. Always good the first time was at Merriweather post Pavillion.
Last time was at Hershey Park arena the lead act before zac brown. This was right before Gregg passed
They played a whole different version of whipping post that was fantastic. The timing was different as was some of the chords. Man that was good.

I was was born and raised in Macon, and knew much of the Allman Bro, and the other Capricorn recording artist, but did not know this Chank guy. Had seen some pics of him from their earlier fame days but had no clue he was a friend to the end of Greggs time. RIP, you guys are together again......
