| I have a Mopar 383 engine and 727 transmission for sale. I think it's a 1968 year. Block # is 2468130 and the head # is 2951250. According to the head # it's a 1968. This engine has never been apart. I did pull heads, pan and pistons to inspect. Head gaskets were still the original steel so I know its never been apart. Block has a wear edge on the top shows me it has 100,000 miles on it or so. heads are 2.08 - 1.74. This was a 2 bbl engine out of a 68 Monaco. Engine has been sitting inside a heated shop for 20 years. Pictures of the bottom end show NO rust in crankcase at all. Crank spins very freely without pistons in it. This price is for motor and trans assembly. Selling it together as a package. I have more pictures if requested |
