1970 coronet R/T - 500

Does the rear finish panel on a 70 coronet R/T or 500 mount under the trunk lock cylinder. Mine sits above it. Looks okay from a distance but not right up close. Can someone post pics showing how theirs are mounted.

Same as a 67 Barracuda. Tail panel sits over top so you can scratch the **** out of it with the key!

Same on 69 so it can be easliy scratched.

It does look better under the lock, I'm going to take my panel off and see If I can get everything lined up under the lock

No small bezel for that? Seems like there should be, there was one on my old 67 GTX, probably for that very reason.

The panel has a built in recess that looks like it would go under the lock. Moparfreak92, his is under the lock. So I will try and see if I can get mine to line up and installed that way.
